The Objective: Increase Online Class Bookings

During a period of expansion, [solidcore] needed a digital landscape that was able to scale with them. LSM stepped in to audit & optimize their current website, user experience, content and local listings for organic performance. In preparation for a June 2022 branding refresh, LSM also created an SEO checklist of priority optimizations to be implemented on their new website pre- and post-launch.

The Solution

LSM implemented the following SEO optimizations across [solidcore]’s digital landscape:

Website Optimizations

  • Implemented optimized title tags, meta descriptions and image ALT text to include targeted keywords. Developed a stronger H-tag hierarchy and implemented all missing H1 tags.
  • Improved page speeds by removing unused third party code and reformatting images. 
  • Developed a locator tool with a map view and search functionality, so users could easily find the studio nearest them.

Content Optimizations

  • Achieved a balanced text/HTML ratio by implementing new homepage, service page and location page content. Created a list of core target keywords that were used to write unique, localized content.
  • Added strategic call-to-actions and keyword-rich content to pages with high bounces rates in order to increase user engagement.

Local Listing Optimizations

  • Created a new business description to use on all local listings.
  • Created naming and content uniformity across all Google Business Profiles, Yelp listings and locations pages.
  • Implemented UTM codes on location pages to track site traffic coming from GBP listings.

 

Tracking Optimizations

  • Set up tracking in Google Tag Manager to send performance data back to Facebook in order to support proper conversion attribution. 
  • In preparation for Google’s inevitable removal of the cookie, LSM set up a brand new Google Analytics 4 account and GA4 events for [solidcore].
