Our Story
LSM was founded in 2006 by Trevor Emerson. The company, then known as Local Search Masters, initially focused on providing small businesses in the Nashville area with local search engine optimization. Based out of a kitchen and entirely self-funded, this early incarnation of LSM involved a lot of cold calls to local business owners. During these discussions, it became clear that SEO alone wasn’t enough: these companies needed comprehensive digital marketing solutions.
Over the next several years, we began expanding our scope of operations and were soon attracting clients from outside the state. The formula – a combination of down-to-earth transparency and powerful, enterprise-grade analytical insights – proved successful with businesses of all sizes, including multi-location franchisors.
By 2018, we formally adopted our shorthand name and expanded our services to include web design, advertising campaign management, branding, and more. Today LSM is a full-service advertising agency with 25+ employees. Currently based out of offices in Nashville, TN, Denver, CO, and Las Vegas, NV, we’ve come a long way from our humble beginnings and our commitment to helping businesses build and maintain a winning online presence remains unchanged.
